General Assembly

The General Assembly (GA) is the biennial gathering of the OMS Holiness Church of North America, bringing together delegates, pastors, and guests from our Conference churches.

As the highest governing body of the Conference, the GA seeks to discern and carry out the heart and will of God in matters both great and small.

This year’s GA will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, with general sessions held Friday, September 5, through Saturday, September 6, 2025. In addition, the Ordained Ministerial Body (OMB), Holiness Shepherd Council (HSC), and Conference Administrative Office (CAO) will convene on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

A special banquet will be held on the evening of Friday, September 5, at the Ala Moana Hotel. All guests are welcome.

Registration

If you’re flying, we recommend booking your flights before completing your registration.

Transportation details to and from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) are provided below.

For those staying at the designated conference hotel, a link to make reservations will be emailed to you once your General Assembly registration is complete.

Please note that all attendees must register, regardless of their role. This includes guests and children who may not attend sessions but will require transportation, plan to join group meals, or join the Friday night banquet.

If you plan to attend the banquet or bring guests, please be prepared to pay the applicable fee at the end of the registration.

Flights & Transportation for Mainland Guests

Arrival Transportation

Transportation will be provided between Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and the Ala Moana Hotel on Wednesday, September 3, and Thursday, September 4.

Scheduled airport pickup times:

  • 1:30 PM

  • 5:30 PM

  • 10:00 PM

To utilize the provided transportation, please schedule your flight to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to one of the listed pickup times to allow for baggage claim and transit to the meeting point.

Transportation outside of the scheduled times will not be available. Guests arriving outside the designated pickup windows will need to arrange their own transportation to the hotel at their own expense.

You will be asked whether transportation is needed when you complete your General Assembly registration. Please confirm your flight itinerary before registering.

Departure Transportation

Return transportation to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) will be available as follows:

  • Saturday, September 6 – Departing from Honolulu Christian Church, immediately following the conclusion of General Assembly, at 1:00 PM.

  • Sunday, September 7 – Departing from the Ala Moana Hotel at 9:00 AM

Ground Transportation

The Conference does not reimburse costs for ground transportation. This includes rental cars, taxis, rideshare services (e.g., Uber, Lyft), airport shuttles, and public transit.

Please plan accordingly and note that any transportation outside of the scheduled group arrangements will be at your own expense.

Lodging for Mainland Guests

All mainland guests will be housed at the Ala Moana Hotel, where the Conference has secured a discounted group rate. This rate is available from August 30 through September 7, allowing guests the flexibility to extend their stay in Hawaii.

Lodging expenses will be reimbursed up to $218 per night (plus taxes and fees), which covers the cost of a standard Waikiki Tower room plus taxes and fees. Only stays at the Ala Moana Hotel are eligible for reimbursement.

Please review the lodging reimbursement guidelines carefully, as policies vary by region, church, and role.

A hotel reservation link will be provided after you complete your General Assembly registration.

Kona Tower

$189/night + taxes and fees

Each room offers 246 square feet with one queen bed and one sofa (two double beds are not available). Amenities include a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, LCD TV, complimentary high-speed Internet, and an in-room safe. Rooms have a bathtub/shower combination and are non-smoking. Note: Rooms do not have a balcony.

Waikiki Tower

$218/night + taxes and fees

Each room offers 345 square feet and includes either two double beds (maximum 4 guests) or one king bed with a chair pullout bed (maximum 3 guests). Amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an in-room safe. Rooms feature a bathtub/shower combination, blackout drapes, and a private balcony. All rooms are non-smoking.

Waikiki Tower Ocean View

$239/night + taxes and fees

Each room offers 345 square feet and includes either two double beds (maximum 4 guests) or one king bed with a chair pullout bed (maximum 3 guests). Amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-room safe, blackout drapes, and a bathtub/shower combination. Rooms are non-smoking and feature a private balcony.

Friday Night Banquet

A special banquet will be held on Friday, September 5, at the Ala Moana Hotel. All are invited to attend this evening of great food, meaningful fellowship, and joyful celebration with brothers and sisters from across the Conference. While the cost of the banquet is $90 for most, the Conference is covering half the cost to help make it more accessible for everyone.

Banquet Pricing

  • Adults and children ages 12 and older: $45

  • Children ages 4–11: $25

  • Children 3 and under: Free

Delegates, pastors, retired pastors and their spouses, widows, and members of the Holiness Shepherd Council and Conference Administrative Office are invited as guests of the Conference and may attend at no cost.

Churches are welcome to support their pastors by covering the cost for family members who wish to attend.

All individuals—including those attending the banquet only—must register online. Payment for banquet tickets will be collected during the online registration form.

Reimbursement Guidelines

Reimbursement for delegates and active members of the Ordained Ministerial Body (OMB) is a shared responsibility between the Conference and the local church:

  • The Conference will cover two-thirds of eligible expenses.

  • The local church is responsible for the remaining one-third.

Retired pastors and their spouses, widows, and members of the Holiness Shepherd Council (HSC) and Conference Administrative Office (CAO) are reimbursed 100% by the Conference.

Airfare

The Conference will reimburse economy-class airfare for those traveling from the mainland U.S. who serve in the following roles:

  • Delegates

  • Active OMB members

  • Retired pastors and their spouses

  • Widows of pastors

  • Members of the HSC and CAO

Note: For the spouse of an active OMB member, reimbursement will be provided for up to two-thirds of an economy-class ticket.

Only stays at the Ala Moana Hotel are eligible for reimbursement. Guests who choose to stay elsewhere will be responsible for the full cost of their lodging.

Please refer to the section below for eligible nights of reimbursement, which vary by region, church, and role:

Northern California and San Diego

  • Delegates: Up to three nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

  • Active OMB Members, Retired Pastors and Spouses, Widows: Up to four nights (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

Southern California
(Crossway, Los Angeles, Orange County, South Bay, West Covina, and West Los Angeles)

  • Delegates: Up to two nights (Thursday and Friday)

  • Active OMB Members, Retired Pastors, and Spouses, Widows: Up to three nights (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

Reimbursement Information for Church Treasurers

Pastors and delegates should be reimbursed in full (100%) by their local church or department. Once all applicable reimbursements have been issued, the Church Treasurer may submit a single reimbursement request to the Conference Treasurer on behalf of the church or department.

This request should include:

  • A summary of individuals reimbursed and the corresponding amounts

  • Supporting documentation (e.g., flight and lodging receipts)

The Conference will reimburse two-thirds of the total eligible costs to the church or department.

Retired pastors, widows, and members of the HSC and CAO should submit their reimbursement requests directly to the Conference Treasurer.

All reimbursement requests must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
