The General Assembly ("GA") is the gathering of local churches through their delegates, pastors, and guests from all our Conference churches. The General Assembly is the highest governing body of the OMS Holiness Church of North America and commits to serving the heart and will of God for our Conference in matters great and small.
2021 General Assembly — Conference’s Centennial
The next General Assembly, hosted jointly by Los Angeles Holiness Church and West Los Angeles Holiness Church, will be held in 2021 in Los Angeles. Additional information will be available in late 2020.
2019 General Assembly Reimbursement
The reimbursement for delegates and active OMB members is shared by the conference (two-thirds of cost) and local church (one-third of cost). Local churches should reimburse eligible guests 100% of the cost. The church treasurer should then submit one reimbursement request on behalf of the church/department with supporting receipts to the conference treasurer. The conference will then reimburse the local church two-thirds of the total cost.
Southern California, Hawaii, and Arizona delegates and active OMB members are reimbursed for airfare.
Southern California and select Northern California delegates and active OMB members are reimbursed for fuel expenses as follows:
Southern California Churches $160
Carpooling is encouraged and auto rentals will not be reimbursed.
Southern California, Hawaii, and Arizona delegates and active OMB members are reimbursed for lodging at the conference-approved hotel only. Northern California pastors and delegates who live 50+ miles from JCCWC are reimbursed for lodging at the conference-approved hotel.
Guests are eligible for lodging reimbursement as follows:
Hawaii Delegates: three nights — Thu, Fri, Sat
Hawaii OMB/HSC/CAO/JC: four nights — Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Out-of-Area Delegates (50+ mi from JCCWC): two nights — Fri, plus Thur or Sat
Out-of-Area OMB/HSC/CAO/JC (50+ mi from JCCWC): three nights — Thu and Fri, plus Wed or Sat
Retired Pastors: Retired pastors and spouses living in California, Arizona, or Hawaii, will be guests of the Conference and travel and lodging expenses will be covered by the Conference.
