Mission Endowment Fund
The Conference has been entrusted with a Mission Endowment Fund (“MEF”) to encourage members from our churches to serve and experience going on a short-term mission. The heartbeat behind this fund is forindividuals to take a step of faith; to go, “love on,” and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who donot know Him. The hope is that some short-term missionaries may be led to serve long-term in the field.
Funds from the MEF supplements missionaries and is not intended to become the core or totality of their funding.
Since its inception in 2015, the MEF has supported 80 first-time missionaries from five Conference churches (Crossway, Honolulu, San Lorenzo, Walnut Creek, and West Covina) as they took the gospel to Baja, Arizona, and Japan (Kobe, Nakashibetsu, Chiba, Sadako, and Ishinomaki).
Our prayer is to have many more members from our various churches send out individuals to the mission field! As our Lord Jesus Christ said, “The Harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest.” (Luke 10:2)
